I think that posting cannon clans would be helpful in the forum. I tried to put one up and you said

Well I still that that we should be allowed to post them up if we want to. As now we have three hozuki with three different histories on the clan. XD One that says there was an extermination of all our adults with only the children sparred. While I was advertising this site on my friend's avatar site, kenny asked if there was a nara clan. That he wasn't going to join because there was no nara clan. I had to explain that you allowed it, just don't have an app for it. But how was he suppose to know that? If I hadn't told him he wasn't going to join, it just makes sense to put the apps up. Who cares if their cannon? Give them their own section if you want it takes two seconds to add a sub-forum. But cannon clans need to go up so there is no more confusion with character apps and with new members. Which is why I tried to post the Hozuki clan app a while ago, now we have different histories that clash.

Perhaps they could form a canon clan list with a link to each clan from narutopedia or something

Well ya that is basically what my clan is, but naruto wiki only give information that is cannon. They give no history so we could use naruto wiki and one person from each clan just make a standard history for the clan.
